Teachers search for trends and patterns when analyzing students' assessment data. They also use the data to make a demographic comparison. Teachers employ figures, such as graphs, tables, and charts, to ensure that patterns and trends are visible. The figures help to organize the data to show the patterns. Educators can ascertain if students' performances are improving, decreasing, fluctuating, or remaining the same. The information gathered from data analysis using graphs, tables, and charts helps teachers to make informed decisions about student learning needs. They help with knowing if the teacher must reteach, move on, or provide one-on-one instructions to specific students. Figures 1 and 2 give an example of a chart and a table used in the assessment process.
